How much does your service cost?

A standard consultation is $150 for the first hour, which covers diagnostics, repairs, and personalised support. After the first hour, additional time is billed at $50 per half hour, so you only pay for the time you need.

A call‑out fee also applies, depending on your location.

I do pretty much all of the Ipswich City region from Walloon all the way to Springfield. Parts of the Scenic Rim stopping around Boonah & Aratula. The Somerset Region which includes Lowood & Fernvale. And lastly the Lockyer Valley with my maximum distance being Laidley

My IT management service is designed to scale with your organisation, no matter how many devices or software systems you use. I offer a flexible retainer that’s tailored to your business size, along with a significantly reduced call‑out fee whenever on‑site support is needed.

Do you offer Senior Discounts?

YES!, If you are over 65 years young! My hourly rate is heavily discounted, and my half‑hour rate is capped — even if your job takes two hours or more, you’ll never pay more than that first half hour. It keeps things simple, fair, and great value for you.

I do still charge a call‑out fee, but only to cover travel, and it depends on how far from Ipswich you are.

Hi, I’m Chris. I live in One Mile, Ipswich, and I’ve spent many years working in IT across both the public and private sectors, as well as contracting independently. Before all that, I served in the Australian Defence Force.

I’ve always had a passion for computers and helping people, which is exactly why I started Bloomin Computer. The name comes from something I hear from clients all the time when they’re frustrated with their tech — though the real version is usually a bit less “PG” than bloomin’.
